Built in 1904, the renovation of this apartment was difficult, since historical heritage law protected the building. Nothing original could be altered. The existing kitchen and master bathroom were inadequate for today's standards and needed to be relocated. The kitchen was relocated into formal study, and the master bathroom into a former bedroom. A pedestal in the new kitchen and bathroom allowed us to relocate the rooms and install plumbing and electrical without interfering with the protected structure. This also gave us the opportunity to lower the bathtub and create a walk-in shower without threshold. The all-glass shower is a true masterpiece in glasswork.
